Competitive Advantage - Constructive Occlusion®

Constructive Occlusion® is an optical system technique that blends and controls light from multiple LEDs to produce elegant and uniform illumination. The design brilliantly combines an array of high lumen output LEDs with a reflective cavity material to deliver a powerful ray of light while at the same time obscuring the LEDs from direct view. The result is a single, uniform source of light with no pixilation or striation effects often found with direct-view LED fixtures.


Thermal Conrol

A primary deterrent to LED performance is heat. Renaissance Lighting downlights have a unique integrated housing and heat sink design that provides optimal thermal transfer for the luminaire ensuring efficient heat dissipation, better performance and longer life span for LED light sources. These downlights have a 50,000 hour service life and last up to 25 times longer than incandescent bulbs.
